I absolutely enjoy sharing the powerful healing that yoga and nutrition brought to my own life with others who may also find them valuable. Through my determination to repair the damage to my body from several auto-immune disorders, that would some days leave me unable to walk, the  journey into wellness began in 2010 by enrolling in a yoga teacher training program and becoming a Certified Yoga Instructor. As I began to notice the powerful impact of yoga, I searched for more ways to heal naturally, and received certification as an Usui Reiki Master in 2011, as well as completing certification in vegan nutrition through the VegMasters program. In 2014 I became the first person in the state of Kentucky to be a certified Y12SR Leader, which supports those affected by addictions and created an online support group called ASRO (Addiction Support & Recovery Options).  By 2015 I became a Certified Health Coach, receiving training through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.  

I am mom to three humans and many, many, fur children.  Several years ago I published I'm The Chef Of This Kitchen, which is a book that allows people of all ages to experience easy, healthy and fun recipes. Check it out on Amazon, Kindle, or the CreateSpace Store to purchase your very own copy.  

I also hold a Bachelor's Degree from Youngstown State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and sat on the Board of Directors for four years at Uplands PEAK Sanctuary, a farm sanctuary that supports my mission of respecting all beings, the planet, and spreading kindness and compassion. 

Founded in 2011, Bright From The Heart Wellness is dedicated to serving others through positive connections. These connections are created through various wellness services for individuals and groups, such as working with a Certified Health Coaching, Yoga, Reiki, Virtual Yoga Teacher Training Program, food & nutrition workshops, and other special events.  We promote compassion toward the self, all beings, and encourage taking pride and responsibility for the environment.   

Opening our mind to other wellness possibilities can have a positive effect physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Increased flexibility, strength, balance, better stress management, enhanced concentration, compassion toward others, and creating a sense of calm are just a few of the many benefits our services offer. People of all ages, shapes and sizes benefit.
